We’re excited to bring you Video Game Development LEVEL II!
If you have already been to a NERDIES™ Game Dev session or have used Unity Game Engine before this session is for you!
Video Game Development LEVEL II
Session Date and Location:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; July 15 - July 19 (ROGERS) ( ages 12-17 )
We’re excited to bring you Video Game Development LEVEL II! If you have already been to a NERDIES™ Game Dev session or have used Unity Game Engine before, then this session is for you!
Similar to Level I, we'll be creating a 2D platform game. This difference is that in this session we’re gonna up your game. It’s time to stop playing games and start making them.
If your child has any experience with Unity3D or has previously attended a NERDIES™ Video Game Development session, then this is the right camp for them to further advance their development skills. This camp is similar in structure and format as Video Game Development Level I. It is, however, more advanced. We do not recommend enrolling your child in this camp if they don’t have any prior experience.
A computer is not required for this session but if you do have a computer here are the specifications you will need and we’ll help you get setup to continue developing games after the session ends!
2010 or newer computer
DirectX 9 (if using Windows)
20gb hard drive space
2014 or newer computer
DirectX 11 (if using Windows)
NERDIES™ Summer Sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm. Lunch not provided.
A NON-REFUNDABLE payment is required to hold your spot for NERDIES™ Summer Sessions. In the event your child is unable to attend the payment can be applied to future NERDIES™ offerings.
