Stories are simple. They begin. Something happens. Then they end. Even the writers at Pixar will tell you that. Making a story simple is the hard part. They’ll tell you that, too. During this session campers will learn how to make that process easier. They will learn about plot, arcs, character development, story beats, and how to count from 1 to 10 ten in 10 different ways.
They will also learn to keep a journal, brainstorm with post-its and a blank wall, think creatively, provide feedback, and more all in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental setting.
Tuition includes the cost of a “Storyteller’s Toolkit” which includes paper, pens, pencil, a composition book, notecards, post-its, and a few other surprises.
Nerdies Summer Sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm. Lunch not provided.
A NON-REFUNDABLE payment is required to hold your spot for Nerdies Summer Sessions. In the event your child is unable to attend the payment can be applied to future Nerdies offerings.
