Yesterday Nerdies and New Design School was fortunate enough to help sponsor at the NWA Tech Fest held in Fayetteville. The event was fantastic and we were able to meet so many great people. We also gave away a couple scholarships to our 2017 Summer Sessions. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the event. #NerdOn #DesignOn

We Are Looking For Great Mentors This Summer
If you are cool, chill and want to have a great time nerding out this summer we would love to talk.
I am looking to hire several mentors for our upcoming Nerdies Summer Sessions. The pay is great, the kids are awesome, class sizes are small and you will get to do something fun and unique. If you are interested I would love to chat and tell you a little bit more of what we are looking for this summer. Use the button below to send us a note and I will get back to you soon to set up a time to talk.

Founder and Head Nerd In Charge Brad Harvey Named to Celebrate Arkansas Magazine's '15 to Watch in 2015'
July 1st, 2015
On June 30th Nerdies Founder and Head Nerd In Charge, Brad Harvey, was named to the first '15 to Watch in 2015' list by Celebrate Arkansas Magazine at a reception held in Bentonville Arkansas. In a press release from Celebrate Arkansas Magazine the award is for the "top 15 influential and emerging leaders who were nominated by their peers through online submissions over a period of six weeks. A highly qualified and engaged external committee of established leaders independently evaluated the submissions and determined the winners for 2015. These 15 winners are truly making a difference in Northwest Arkansas and beyond. Celebrate Arkansas Magazine is proud to celebrate their accomplishments in its July 2015 issue."
"It is an incredible honor to be named to the list but without the incredible passion and dedication of our mentors none of this is possible" stated Brad when asked about the award. "It is exciting to see the recent upswell of enthusiasm in the area around STEM and STEAM education and along with our other partners in the area I know we can make a significant difference in the lives of the great kids we mentor."
The July issue which features Becky Hammon, the first full-time salaried coach in the NBA, hits the shelves July first.
The digital edition of the issue can be found HERE
